OTS

For those of you who don't know, Cameron, my husband has been gone for the last 11 weeks and now only has 2 more weeks to go before I see him and he graduates from Officer Training School. This past week he was playing out in the "field". Doing different missions and attacking with paint ball guns. In that time I couldn't talk to him for 4 days! Which I know many other amazing wives don't get to get to talk to their husbands much at all when they are deployed so I shouldn't complain... but I am. I went to bed each night feeling like something was missing. I really do enjoy talking to my husband. He the only one that knows me, the real me and yet still loves me. He understands when I complain or understands when I get really excited over simple things. So not being able to talk to him was like tortue! I missed my best friend and was so glad to get his call on Friday. I told him he can see the light at the end of tunnel now that he is almost done and he said, "That means I am still in the tunnel." We will all be glad to have him back! The girls have already came up with a kiss and hug payback program.
Below are pictures of him on some airplane (I think a 130). I am still trying to figure out everything as far as the Air Force goes, but know it will be a long process. Anyway, he went up on this flight and it funny to see him through the pictures as the flight goes on...
First a thumbs up!!

Next a little concern look...

then the look and hand gesture right before he threw up!! I guess the ride was a nice smooth ride. I laughed. Only because I have the weakest stomach in the world! It was nice to hear some one couldn't hold his cookies (him and 3 others lost em).
He is almost done!!!! Once it gets back it will be a whole new whirlwind we will be going through, but atleast we will be TOGETHER!
*Photos from a nice OTS student that puts pictures up on FB. Thanks

Pumpkins!!

Today I went with Avy's preschool group to the local Pumpkin patch where there are farm animals and free pumpkins for kids! Below are our pictures from this exciting day!
The "boo" sisters! I picked out for Avy this really cute glitter pumpkin shirt to wear today and she just had to match with her sister! Guess who won?? Yep, not me. But to her credit, they did look really cute together.

Lincoln was lucky and was able to go with us on the field trip. He loves holding Avy's hand and she is such a nice Big sister that she doesn't mind. In fact, he has made her more popular with all her little preschool friends. They all have to give him hugs, kisses, and high fives whenever they see him. One little girl said to Avy, "I want my baby to be like your brother!"

Not a so good picture of Avy (it was really windy) but you can see the HUGE horse behind her! It must be at least 9 ft tall! Link like the "neigh" too.

If you look closely, or not closely, because you can't miss this 900 pound 7 year PIG!

Avy liked the chickens and found her favorite one!

Pumpkin Picking Time

Link looking around. It is hard to chose the perfect pumpkin when there are so many.

"Heavy" he says!

Just right!

Any one that knows Avy knows that she likes to take her time...she was the first one in the patch and the last one out.

But Finally found a perfect pumpkin for her and her brothers and sister.

Here are Avy's Teachers.

Pumpkin Decorating Time

Brooklyn of course chose the cat pattern, but did it all by herself!

Avy Picked the glue on witch one to make and did a lot of it her self (everything but the eyes).
Friday was a busy, busy fun day!
(field trip, birthday celebration at noon, 2:00 dentist for me, make homemade chicken noodle soup and corn bread muffins, then painting toe nails, movie watching and pumpkin decorating!)
