Avy goes to Preschool and Link has Croup (again)

Avonlea goes back to school! It took a while to get everything processed in her new school district, but she is finally in preschool. Even though it will be only for 6 weeks or so, I think it will be good for her. She gets to eat breakfast and lunch there (for free)! She gets to paint to her hearts content (she loves to paint). And she is showing everyone how smart she is (but she won't tell them how smart she is, still working on that one).

Lincoln's Croup

So either it was last Monday night or Early Tuesday moring Lincoln woke up twice with a cough "attack" where he struggled to breath. Since I am no stranger to croup, I was able to treat him at home by just wrapping him up in a blanket and taking him outside until he would catch his breath. And since I was already awake at 6:00am I was able to call his doctor and make an appointment that day. So after we dropped off Avy we headed over to see his doctor. Who then treated him with the steriod and he hasn't had an attack since, but still has a cough. Poor boy...but he is sure cute!

Labor Day 2010

It wouldn't be Labor Day for us with out a trip to see the balloons. Unfortantely they didn't launch off the ground this year due to bad winds. But we had a great time non the less. We ran into some friends of ours as we where coming in and the kids had a great time playing with their kids. And they did blow up a lot of them. We stayed and watched for 30 minutes then headed over to the "Egg and I" for a free breakfast for the kids! We got home and rested a bit from our early morning, then headed over to the Splash Park one last time for the season. Here are the pictures below from our busy and fun day!
